On Friday, September 25, Pythagoras Mundus was presented at EXPO 2015.
Selected as a program of excellence under the VivaioScuole Project – organized by MIUR in collaboration with EXPO – the meeting represented the achievement of the final objectives set out under the extracurricular activities of Axis II of the Pythagoras Mundus Program – A.S. 2014/2015.
Students and teachers from the IIS of Diamante (Lead Partner) and IPA of Scigliano participated in the event organized at the Italian Pavilion in collaboration with USR Calabria-which involved all the schools participating in the program.
Vivaioscuole brings together 736 selected projects from schools of all levels representing all Italian regions, and is carried out as part of the “School Project” of Expo Milano 2015.
Launched in December 2013, with the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR), Expo 2015 and the Italian Pavilion, the educational program that the Universal Exposition has developed for students in schools of all levels (Preschools, Primary and Secondary Schools of 1st and 2nd grade) and Universities proposes numerous opportunities for reflection and in-depth study of the theme “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life.”
